About this site
I’d rather speak through a mixer than a microphone, and when the music stops, the words end up as long paragraphs of reflections. This is the place I share them.
A shy person with a loud brain. AZADÎ means freedom in Kurdish, and I’m still figuring out what that means in practice. But at least I know what doesn’t set me free: rules I didn’t choose, formats I have to squeeze myself into, and feeds that decide who gets heard. So here, I write the same way I dance and play music: freely, with my eyes closed, ears open.
What you’ll find here
Reflections, whole and half-finished thoughts, notes, producers and tracks I like, stories from behind the decks and inside Ableton, and the occasional idea I probably should have slept on. Sometimes I’ll poke at the things the scene keeps repeating without checking, like the excuses we hear about who gets booked and who doesn’t, and run small experiments to see if they actually hold up. Mostly music, culture and the scene, but honestly, anything that won’t leave me alone might end up here. No schedule. A new post appears when a thought is ready, not when an algorithm is hungry.
Subscribing
It’s free. If you subscribe, new posts land quietly in your inbox. No spam. You can leave anytime, no hard feelings.
Reading without subscribing
Also completely fine. Everything is open. Wander in, read something, wander out.
